The TMX Finance Family of Companies held its 4th Annual Company-wide food drive during October and it was a resounding success! Thanks to the generous support of our customers, community partners, and team members- we collected 23 tons of food, which equates to 137,240 meals to support our neighbors in need! That’s a “ton” of meals! Together, we crushed last year’s totals making this initiative one for the books!
Today, one in six people in America faces hunger while 49 million Americans struggle to put food on the table. Our food drive gives us the chance to not only help fight hunger, but to give back to our local communities in which we serve. No one in America should ever have to go hungry, so each year we want to help make hunger a thing of the past.
We were very excited to recognize our one of our stores and one of our corporate departments who went above and beyond in the fight to end hunger with the TMX Cares Heart Award. Our food drive winners are the TitleBucks in Baxley, Georgia and the IT/EPMO/Products Departments in our Dallas, Texas corporate office. These teams gave 110% to help ensure those in their communities who need help the most, received it!
The TitleBucks Baxley, Georgia team, along with the support of customers and community partners, donated 481 food items to the Appling County Food Bank, totaling $721.50. The winning corporate team donated 1,815 food items to the North Texas Food Bank, totaling $2,772.50. Congratulations to both teams who went above and beyond to help fight hunger in our local communities!
