I was always the girl who not only doubted herself, but who always seemed to be doubted by others. But ever since I was young, I have always found ways to do things on my own. I always saved money to get what I wanted before anyone could buy it for me and I would save hundreds! I knew what I wanted and I worked hard to make it happen. Through my experiences, I have learned to push myself to keep moving forward. I’m now 21 years old with a home I purchased for myself at 19, I am working while going to college for a degree in Human Resources, and I have a 10-month old daughter! You can do it all! Never believe anyone who says you can’t because you can do whatever you set your mind to, even if everything tries to set you back.
As my confidence has grown, my ambition has become much stronger over the past few years. My faith never stops, and I try to stay grounded, but I always believe my dreams make me stronger. Providing for my daughter has given me most of the drive I have today. Even though I’m still rising through some adversity, I’m doing great. I’m always moving forward, and I look at every day as a new day with no setbacks.
