I’ve always been the kind of person who avoids exercise at all costs. Back in high school, I’d choose the weightlifting option in gym class while everyone else went to play indoor soccer. This decision was partially motivated by the fact that I could sit on the leg press machine for forty minutes doing absolutely nothing, and partially to avoid an inevitable indoor soccer injury (usually in the form of a broken nose). As I got older, it became much easier to avoid working out because of all the new excuses that adulthood brought to the table. I was always …

By: Leonita S. McAllister, General Manager-TMX Certified Trainer, U.S. Navy Whether in active duty or as veteran, you always have concern for others and their well-being. Working at TitleMax has given me a way to continue to help others and the ability to interact and meet all types of people like I did when I served. It is a great feeling to be able to help change a life, not just with financial help, but with a smile, connecting in conversation, and even just listening. Veterans Are Assets
By: Stephen Kennedy, Senior General Manager, Air Force Hi! I hope everyone can get through what might be a long-winded synopsis of my time in the military, and how TMX Project SERV helps my fellow veterans. I began my military career in 1973, after being fortunate enough to experience being a military brat from elementary to high school. I found myself living most of my young life in Japan and Germany. After graduating high school in Germany, I returned to the states, started college, but found myself missing the excitement and lifestyle associated with being around the military, so I …
Commitment + Passion + Discipline = Results and Performance
By: Chris Copenhaver, General Manager, U.S. Marine I began my career with Titlemax in January 2016 as a General Manager. It has been a blessing to see a company go above and beyond to show their effort and support for our veterans. You do not see many companies doing this for the men and women who have served. During my spare time away from work, I am currently working on my Master’s Degree in Accounting. I am a proud father with five children and my oldest son is currently serving our Military as well. He is six months into his …
Leadership Skills
By: David Lonergan, General Manager, U.S Marine Corps I joined the Marine Corps in 2004 after high school and served 8 years. In my time spent, I learned how to become a better leader by the core values of the Marine Corps: Honor, Courage, Commitment. In the Marine Corps I was deployed to Iraq, traveled to other countries, and went to different states. I got to see how other places were and learn from other cultures to expand my mind to help with new ways of teaching and learning. When I started a family, I decided to leave the military. …

Corporate New Hire Program
Submitted by: Caitlyn Fahey, Executive Assistant of Shared Services – Dallas On Monday April 16th, I was able to visit one of our TitleMax stores in Carrollton, Texas as part of the New Hire Program to observe store operations. As a corporate employee, I really wanted to see the front-line processes of our organization and learn about the day-to-day store activities. Throughout the visit, I was able to see the customer onboarding process, vehicle appraisals using the ACV tool, payment transactions, and collections activity. But, my biggest takeaway from my experience was the interactions and relationships between customers and store …
